An e-book (short for electronic book, also written eBook) is the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book. Such documents are usually read on personal computers, or on dedicated hardware devices known as e-book readers or e-book devices. Many mobile phones can also be used to read eBooks.

The files provided here are zipped for downloading. To open/extract these files you will need a decompression utility. The ability to open/extract Zip files is built-in to the latest versions of Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The most common formats for e-books are the Mobipocket format, the epub format, and the PDF format.

Epub -The epub format can be used by many devices and desktop readers. It is an open source format. Adobe’s Digital Editions uses this format.
